| Mountain Measures: A Second Serving |
|
This is the follow-up to Mountain Measures – all new recipes!
This book not only has your appetizers, meats, breads, desserts, and beverages, it also features a section on restaurant specialties in West Virginia.
From the Riverside Inn’s fruit stuffed duckling to the Greenbrier’s cold bourbon soufflé, a description of each restaurant is followed by a handful of their specialty recipes.
Another new section features recipes from fairs and festivals, such as, the Ramp Festival (Feast of the Ramson). For those who do not know what a ramp is, it is a cross between an onion and garlic - and is native to West Virginia. Others featured are the Buckwheat Festival, the WV Strawberry Festival, the WV Black Walnut Festival, and the Italian Heritage Festival – plus more!
Cost is $18.00 plus $6.00 shipping and handling.
